I am currently living in New Orleans, LA pursuing my master's degree in Earth & Environmental Sciences. I am a member of the Nekton Research Lab here at the University of New Orleans. My thesis is investigating the Chandeleur Islands in the Gulf of Mexico as a nursery ground for lemon sharks. My research involves the diet and prey availability of young neonate and juvenile lemon sharks as well as intra and interspecies interactions between sharks at the islands.
